Brad Rimmer (b. 1962), a Perth based photographer, has received the City of Perth Photo Image Award 3 times and was a recipient of a 1997 Santa Fe Assignment Earth Prize for Photography in the USA. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions locally and abroad including the 2004 Pingyao International Photography Festival in China.

Brad Rimmer's photography is carefully consructed so that the seemingly straight forward documentation of places and people produces images which border on the surreal.
Projects include; Roma Romania the Romanian Romanies, Chang Jiang, life on the Yangtze River, In View 1 & 2, portraits of Fremantle artists in their landscape, A Toy Camera in China, black and white Holga images, How Now Mao, China in the new millennium and The space in between, an ongoing project looking at West Australians and the landscape.
His photographs are in National and International public and private collections and he is represented by BBK Editions Photo Agency, 17 rue Dupin, 75006 Paris
Brad Rimmer was part of the original group established to organise the FotoFreo festivals. He has been an active part of the organising committee ever since and a member of the board of management of FotoFreo Inc since its incorporation in 2003. He is currently the festival exhibition coordinator.
Brad is represented in Paris by Corinne Krebs of BBK Editions - photo agency. (3 rue stanislas 75 006 Paris Tel: 01 4544 5608)
