How to become a Friend of FotoFreo
FotoFreo has fast become one of the most important photographic events in the
Southern Hemisphere. Through an outstanding program of exhibitions, audiovisual
projections, seminars, forums, lectures, films, workshops and a conference, Fremantle and
Perth becomes centre stage for some of the most significant names in contemporary
photography. FotoFreo provides a unique opportunity within Australia, to not only see
cutting edge work from the worlds best practitioners in photojournalism, documentary
and art-based photomedia but also to meet them one on one.
Festival organisers have for the first time decided to invite 300 festival supporters
to become the inaugural 'Friends of FotoFreo'. By joining this festival
support group you will ensure your place in a number of popular paid events and receive
significant cost savings.

Every 'Friend' will be in the running for a carton of Ferngrove Estate wine
the winner of which will be announced on the night of the FotoFreo 2006: City of Fremantle
Festival of Photography opening, Friday the 24th of March at the Fremantle Arts
Centre.
CONDITIONS
1) Becoming a Friend of FotoFreo is restricted to the purchaser and is not transferable
or refundable.
2) All festival events will commence at the advertised starting time. We also expect
door sales to be available for each event but will be subject to how many prior bookings
have taken place, including the pre-purchase of tickets by Friends of FotoFreo. However
all pre-purchased seats will require the holder to be seated at least 5 minutes before the
commencement of the event. Otherwise, FotoFreo reserves the right to offer any unoccupied
seats for door purchase.
3) All information as portrayed on this website is current but FotoFreo Inc reserves
the right to modify the scheduling of events, and so it is important that you periodically
check the website for any changes. Any such changes will not diminish the value acquired
by the Friends.
4) Friends of FotoFreo will be able to pick up their Friends sample bag
containing all tickets and entitlements from the Moores Building during the week prior to
the opening of the festival, ie from Monday the 20th of March, or during the
festival from the Moores Building, or at the official opening at the Fremantle Arts Centre
on the night of the 24th of March. If there is any difficulty about collecting
your Friends sample bag, please call 9335 9590.
