2006 Festival Photographer: Matthew Sleeth

Matthew Sleeth (15 kb)Matthew Sleeth is a Melbourne based photographer. His work has been exhibited throughout Australia and in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Cologne and Berlin. Matthew’s work is widely collected and is held in the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria, the National Library of Australia, State Libraries of NSW and Victoria, Monash Gallery of Art, the National Portrait Gallery and various private collections including the Corrigan Collection, Gadens and Deutsche Bank.

Matthew's exhibition for FotoFreo 2006, Rosebud, (a seaside town on the Mornington peninsula southeast of Melbourne) is concerned with the memories of childhood revisited.

He is represented by M.33 (Melbourne), Josef Lebovic Gallery (Sydney) and Gallery Lichtblick (Cologne).
